The great city of Brisbane leads the nation - and is only second in the world to Birmingham - in… searching for internet porn!

A recent Google Trends survey has shown that there is a higher proportion of porn searches tapped into Google from IP addresses in Brisbane than anywhere else in Australia.

The figure is calculated by dividing the total number of pornographic-related searches by the total number of searches from within the city.

Melbourne came 5th in the world, but frumpy Sydney languished down in 9th.

So, Brisbane wins this year’s NRL Premiership and top-spot in the internet porn search stakes.

Ha! Put that in your pipe and smoke it, you dowdy southerners!
